I blame Emma Hague for having a birthday this weekend!! &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><figure style=\"width: 199px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/grahampowell.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/IMG_4433.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"199\" height=\"150\" alt=\"jelly cake\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/grahampowell.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/IMG_4433.jpg?resize=199%2C150\" title=\"Jelly Cake\" class=\"size-thumbnail\"><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Jelly cake made by Claire<\/figcaption><\/figure>Managed to cycle to work twice this week, and didn&#8217;t feel as knackered as I did last week, maybe my body is getting used to this diet lark.<\/p>\n<p>The healthy meals continued this week with a couple of currys and substituting the rice for cauliflower rice. We also had mince with spiralised courgettes masquerading as pasta, apparently it&#8217;s called courgettie!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<figure style=\"width: 399px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/grahampowell.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/IMG_4428.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"399\" height=\"300\" alt=\"mince, butternut squash, courgettie\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/grahampowell.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/IMG_4428.jpg?resize=399%2C300\" title=\"another meal from the week\" class=\"size-medium\"><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">mince with butternut squash and courgettie pasta<\/figcaption><\/figure>&nbsp;<br \/>\nNow drumroll please, how much have I lost this week????<\/p>\n<p>Erm&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;.\u2026 nothing!!<\/p>\n<p>I think I may have misweighed myself last week, as I&#8217;m still 106.3kg, that&#8217;s 16.7 stone. Before I started this diet I was 110kg 17.3 stone. I&#8217;d plateaued at that weight for a while so I&#8217;m pleased that I&#8217;ve managed to lose 4kg in two weeks and keep it off, but would have been nice to lose more this week.<\/p>\n<p>I was convinced I&#8217;d lost more this week, as I was starting to look thinner and feeling good about myself.
