The average ride distance is 17 miles taking average time of one hour and nine minutes, At a average speed of 14.78 miles an hour.<\/p>\n<p>People say why do I cycle, when it is so dangerous on the roads, but I think the stats above are a good reason why I do.<\/p>\n<p>Imagine what I would look like, if I hadn&#8217;t cycled that distance. 160k of calories is a lot of extra fat on my body.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Cycling also saves money. I&#8217;ve calculated i&#8217;ve saved over \u00a3300, by cycling to work three times a week instead of taking the car.
