this week saw me starting to cycle to work again for the first time in four months. The roads are still as busy as ever, and the ride to work is never really a pleasant one.
However, this time round I am fully prepared and ready for the roads with my new fluorescent coat, trousers, and shoe covers, all in bright yellow!
In addition to this, I now have a Headcam, that will ensure that if anything did happen to me on the roads, it will be captured in glorious Full HD 1080.
And what did I capture during my first week, well there was one foreign Lorry that past me very closely, in fact too close to the point that I could probably reach out and touch the side of it as it passed.
Once I’ve worked out how to upload it onto Facebook I will share with the world.
And then yesterday, cycling through Farnborough some Indian decided she would go round the one-way system the wrong way round. Unfortunately the Headcam at this point decided not to record anything, which would have made great viewing. She appeared to be oblivious to everything around her as everybody was beeping her but she just happily carried on driving. Luckily for me I had just got out of the bus lane, and on to the cycle path or she’d have had me too!!
